Another great Challenge to complete some another Christmas Card from another of the Johnson Family friends!  Our friends are from Utah, where it snows at Christmas time BUT their card is photos of their summer time fun!

It was fun using all the sprays, inks, embossing powders, paint and glimmer mists, to create this cute Christmas layout!

Thanks

Steam Punk Punkers

Off the Tails Scrapbooking, a BIG THANK YOU for such a fun Challenge!

It was fun getting all grungy, gluey, painty and also reminiscing on LONG TIME AGO! when my husband Kerry and I, dressed up as a couple of punks, back in the 80's!!

I had some ideas in my head and after an hour of Private Messaging back and forth to Tracy Keilty I had the plan and procedures set in my mind!! Thanks Tracy for the feedback and prompts!

YAH for Steam Punk, it's so COOL! and

I've used some more photos from our weekend away at the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers which fit in with the colours I think!
Nothing nicer than FLOWERS!!

Sweet Lovely Story

I had so much fun doing this Challenge!

We had just been to the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers for a long weekend, so it was the perfect Mood Board and Sketch to use for a couple of my 100's of photos taken on the weekend!  The little paper dolly was perfect to tell the story of another of our Annual Traditions! I had I had

So THANK YOU Scrapping Clearly

Ecca FUN 2017

The ECCA is an annual tradition for most of my family except ME!
BUT this year, much to my hubbies disappointment, we were away up North in the Caravan, so he missed out!

My daughter, Ruth and her little family went though, and of course teased Kerry with some photos of their fun filled day out!  Pretty fairy floss was just a prop for this photo because Ziah loved the look of it but did not like the taste!!  Poor Mumma had to eat it!! ;(

The MUST HAVE thing at the show is the strawberry ice creams and now that there is 4 of them to buy it was a bit expensive!!  But enjoyed by all anyways!

Thanks Shop and Crop for the Challenge it was fun using a colour that I don't normally go to when creating, BUT I thought the purple and black would make the photos pop with the purple stroller and of course, with the matching outfits of black and denim for the Taite Family!!!

Very Proud BJ

 BJ loved his drumming!!
He was quite good at it!!
And we enjoyed going to watch him at different events!!

Scrapbooking Top 50 had a great mood board for this months Challenge -  Musical Rainbows....  what more can I say!! So here is my spin on it!!!

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW!
Our little JJ was so excited to go to Amasia's Rainbow Birthday Party!
So we made her a rainbow outfit to wear on the day!
Oh my!! "butter wouldn't melt in her mouth" in this pic! If only you knew!!
Loved her to bits ,BUT she was a little terror!!

Thanks so much for the opportunity to reminisce, on way back when.
It was a challenging part of our family history, but these precious moments
made it all worth while!!

Thanks d-lish scraps!!

Workshop with Tracy without an 'e'

This was a fun day !

I had suggested to Tracy Keilty that I would love to do a page with her with Lola and Gill on our back deck! So a date was made and lots of invites went out far and wide.... but it ended up just an intimate day with Maria and Lola, Gill, Tracy and I!!

So this is the page we had selected to create under the guidance of Miss T!   We learnt a little more about resist technique which we all loved!  Embossing an image and then spraying over it!!
Cogs are always fun and mixed with lots of pretty flowers made a beautiful layout!

Lola and I were keen to create another page and with a little collaboration we decided to use one of the layouts that Tracy had bought along for "show n tell!"   Tweeked it a little and you can see the 2nd layout was the outcome!!  LOVED IT and had a smashing day with these 4 ladies on my deck!
We shared morning tea and lunch with a splash or two of bubbly and all round had a ball. Nice catching up with T and meeting M!   Thanks ladies!

With a little help

So I wanted to add in these beautiful layouts although I got a little help to create them. Tracey Kelly was the teacher for the first page!  Lola, Gill, Anna and I were thrilled to be able to spend the day with Tracey learning all her little tips to create this pretty page!
I put a pic of Kerry & I on our wedding day in this one and was keen to do a double layout so the 2nd page is my creation using some of the elements from Tracey for inspiration!
So as you can see this is Kerry & I over 40 years later!!!

I feel really dreadful that I can not remember who was the teacher for the layout below! But I vaguely remember it may have been at one of Alison's Workshop Wonder events a few years back.
I love these colours and found the perfect photo of my Dad & I when I was a wee one!
A double layout was the order of the day for this one so I created this one using the same paper collection and a pic of Dad & I NOW!!

Baby Bump

I absolutely love these colours!!!

I was so excited to win last month's Kaisercraft Challenge and very keen to do this layout with September Challenge sketch!

I had bought this Kaiser card stock and these Kaisercraft papers from the Pitter Patter Collection, for another Challenge this month, but decided they would be perfect for this challenge and for these photos of my baby girl's pregnancy shoot photos, at the beach.

Thanks

Explore.... Discover.... Journey......

When I first saw this months Challenge Mood Board I remembered that I had a mixed media Journal entry in these beautiful blue hues!! I did it about a year ago and thought maybe I could photocopy it to use in the base of this double layout!!                                                                A few other things I did with this layout was using Stamping techniques with a Versa mark pad and a nice white pearl embossing powder & a white gold and blue flecked embossing enamel! I also used some Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst sprays for stencilling and random sprays. Black Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black for random stamping pieces. and Ranger Distress Oxide faded jeans for edging the pages and the photo copied pages from my journaling!   It was lots of fun getting all mucky with the inks, sprays  etc
Thank you Show us your Stuff for this months Challenge!!

This is an upside down photo of my original journal entry!

Tell Me What's Happening

Many years ago Uncle Jim needed a hand to rob his bee hives! and Kerry put his had up to help out! As you can see there were lots of bees and plenty of honey too!
In the little pocket below is a couple of tags with some extra photos and one of them is a cheeky one for our eyes only!! he he  Kerry was being silly!  Funny thing is Jimbo has never invited him back to help again!

Thanks Kraft Plus for a great Sept. challenge! I had fun collecting suitable stamps, wood pieces, stencils and the gorgeous textured kraft bubble card (from la carta paper and craft) and most of all the fantastic embroidered bee!

A great song from Jesus Christ Superstar, that I like, goes a little like this

What's the buzz...
Tell me what's happening....

So this is why I called my layout "Tell me what's Happening!"

He's 4

What more could a 4 year old boy want for his Birthday Dinner ??

Avengers Dinner with a fabulous cake made by his Mumma!
Thanks so much for a fab sketch to do the photos justice!!

So many beautiful things in Tasmania !

Love this BOY

Scrapping Outback September White with a Twist Challenge was wonderful!! I love Kraft and Denim so thought I could have fun with this one!!!

Ollie is our 6th Grandson, he is one of NINE beautiful grand children!! As you can imagine I always have plenty of fantastic photos to choose from for each layout!
I love this very peaceful pic of Ollie when he was brand new!! The blue of his onsie, we bought for him in New York, was perfect for this challenge.

Thanks again Scrapping Outback!!

I used lots of different products in this layout.  The washed background was JUST BLUE Colour Blast Colour simmer Cube.  The chippy pieces were stamped with VersaMark and then I applied Ranger Perfect Pearls FOREVER BLUE to it and fixed it with hairspray!
Kaisercard White  and Oil Change paper,  from the Garage Days Collection, by Kaisercraft.  lacartapaper Kraft Bubble added a little texture too!   The Round Kraft Brown stickers by Avery were great for the little pops of Kraft here and there! All edging done using Adirondack DENIM and CARAMEL Dye Ink Pads.
I altered a mytwoangels embellishment, bought at Sammi's Scrapulous!https://www.facebook.com/scrap15/ by adding Colour Blasts JUST BLUE Colour Paste and then the JUST BLUE Colour Embossing Powder!! from Melissa at https://www.facebook.com/Colourblast1/
Lettering dyes bought from Amanda from  https://www.facebook.com/amandacordingleykaszazz/        and the little checky dye from Shelly's Land. https://www.facebook.com/groups/486192618129379/
